It is with deep sadness that we announce the death on August 8 of the well known English fancier Mrs Phillipa Stone of Christchurch. Her funeral will be held on 18 August at 2 p.m. at the St George's Church, Jumpers Road, Christchurch, Dorset. (Postcode for the St George's church hall is BH23 2JR.)

We understand that the new rabbit secretaries for the Tockwith Show (advertised in our July issue) are unable to run this section. We have been assured that the rabbit show will go ahead at the Tockwith venue under the secretaryship of Janet Austin who has run this section for a number of years so will be well known to Tockwith regulars - her telephone number is 01423 568104.

The show is entertaining the Northern Belgian Hare Club and the British Belgian Hare Club on takes place on theTockwith Showground on Saturday August 1.  The closing date as advertised in Fur & Feather is Thursday 23 July.

Silver Fox
