New Zealand
Originally bred for meat, this large docile rabbit has an extremely dense coat and the White (as illustrated) looks a picture when in prime exhibition coat and has won a large number of best in show awards. The New Zealand family includes the smaller Red which also originated in America, the less popular Blue and Black. Average size of the White is 11 lbs (4.989 kgs).
